2010 Winter OR - Show Floor Report #2

I am back at the hotel, finally, after a long day of meetings and playing with some new gear – including a gear test that involved setting up a tent in a hotel room. Here are a few highlights of items I saw today.

It’s a jacket that packs down to a… a neck pillow?!

Merrell is bringing a jacket to market that not only packs into a pocket, that pocket becomes a neck pillow. Strangely functional is a good way to describe this jacket!

Skis, boots and snowboards…and $100 in airline luggage fees!

High Sierra showed off its new S6126 Adjustable Wheeled Ski/Snowboard Combo bag. The title is a bit of a mouthful but it would take lots of gear to fill up this bag. Capable of holding two pairs of skis, one snowboard and two pairs of boots this thing is a beast.
