Riding a bike in the winter can be darned cold. Fortunately, Minnesota-based 45NRTH recognizes winter cycling is a growing sport and builds specialized products that will make riding the frozen tundra a lot more comfortable.

The brand announced two new products this week to accompany its line of winter-biking accessories.

The first are burly handlebar covers known as pogies. Shove your paws in these heavy polyester shells stuffed with PrimaLoft insulation and enjoy the ride with warm fingers.

The Cobrafists are handlebar attachments that promise to keep your digits warm in the coldest temps

The Cobrafists ($125) are the most tech’d-out pogies I’ve ever seen. The windproof construction has zippered vents on the top and bottom to regulate temperature when hands get too warm. Two inner pockets keep food and extra gear stowed in a warm and convenient spot.

For the other extremity, new gaiters are made to keep feet from freezing on sub-zero adventures by bike.

The Bergraven keep the snow out of your boots and insulate your shins

The Bergraven gaiters ($85) have a toe hook that mates up with the brand’s Wölvhammer winter cycling boot. The knee-high design keeps out the snow and slop. A Kevlar material on the fabric protects the gaiters from the chain ring.

Both of these accessories are available now at 45NRTH.com for masochists like me who ride in freezing weather all winter long.
