Alleghenies Trivia Contest, Part Two
August 19, 2009, 8:31 pm
Last night, we posted the first question in our Alleghenies Trivia Contest series, a part of the new Adventure Sweepstakes (www.gearjunkie.com/sweeps09) and a winner received a pair of K-Swiss Run One miSOUL shoes.
Tonight we will have two winners. The first person to correctly answer the question receives the shoes while the second person receives a shipment of Justin’s Nut Butter. Remember, the correct answer must be sent to alleghenies@gearjunkie.com and each answer can be found somewhere on The Alleghenies website (www.thealleghenies.com).
K-Swiss Run One miSOUL Tech is one of the most versatile running shoes on the market today thanks to its proprietary modular, interchangeable sole system. Included with every miSOUL purchase is the cushion 1.0 miSOUL, to meet the rigorous needs of training, and the lighter 1.0 miSOUL for race days. The K-Swiss miSOUL Run One with both inserts retails for $125.
Justin’s is a premier nut butter company on the planet, manufacturing organic and all-natural nut butters using a small batch, proprietary grinding process. Justin’s is available in 16-ounce jars, 1.15-ounce squeeze packs and .6-ounce squeeze packs in nine flavors: Chocolate Peanut, Cinnamon Peanut, Classic Peanut, Honey Peanut, Chocolate Almond, Classic Almond, Honey Almond, Maple Almond and Chocolate Hazelnut.
And finally, trivia question #2: The Conemaugh Gap is the second deepest river gap in the eastern United States. The Gap is where the Conemaugh River breaks through the Laurel Hill Ridge. How deep is it?
The first reader to send the correct response to alleghenies@gearjunkie.com wins the shoes and the second wins the Justin’s Nut Butter.
Good luck!
