Hobbs Hollow Flow Trail, Indiana

Bell Helmets is offering $100,000 in grants to fund three mountain bike facilities built by IMBA Trail Solutions. The money will be awarded in three separate grants to three regional winners, each chosen by popular vote.

Today, the four Central Regional Finalists for the Bell Built Grant are in a tightly contested battle leading up to the approaching voting deadline, this Sunday, May 4th. The finalists are the Hobbs Flow Trail in Indiana; Cottage Grove Bike Park in Minnesota; Chapman Bike Park Project in Colorado; and the Andres Bike Park in Illinois.

Chapman Bike Park Project, Durango, Colorado

The IMBA Trail Solutions team builds some of the most epic trails in the nation (we’ve ridden them, they are brilliant), and their momentum gets stronger as more of their work is seen and ridden.

Cottage Grove Bike Park, Minnesota

The IMBA team usually works with local volunteers, leaving behind their knowledge along the way, teaching what it takes to make trails fun to ride sustainably and to the mutual benefit of land owners. The volunteers are left not only with trail building knowledge, but also a sense of pride and ownership to carry the trail into the future.

Andres Bike Park, Illinois

You can take part in deciding which trails win the grants. To vote:

1 — Go to Bell Built Grant
2 — Select the park for which you’d like to vote
3 — Enter the info required to make your vote official
4 — Remember to confirm your vote! You will receive a confirmation email from Bell that will contain a confirmation link. You MUST click the link to make your vote count!

Hats off to Bell Helmets for putting its ad dollars behind this campaign that supports local cycling communities everywhere. —Tom Puzak
