If you’ve ever wondered what a head on bike collision with a car looks like, here it is, in POV and slow motion.

Patrick Knetemann, a cyclist from the outskirts of London, was catapulted in the air by an unknown driver who was believed to be using false plates (they are visible at 0:17). It appears the driver was turning right and didn’t see the biker (this is in England where people drive on the left side of the road).

Lucky for Patrick, an off duty paramedic rushed him to the hospital where he was released with broken bones and bruises, including two fractured disks in his neck.

If you’re in London and see a body-shaped crater on the windshield of a black Volkswagen Golf, you just might have found the culprit behind this hit and run.
