need one for my hike up 10 mile peak in copper mountain colorado

Posted by Chris Bombria - 09/30/2013 03:52 PM

We seem to have plenty of water here in Colorado but it may need a little filtering. (at least for the next few months)

Posted by Troy Kasper - 09/30/2013 03:54 PM

I NEED it for the back country bike rides we do and we run out of water.

Posted by Chad Mortensen - 09/30/2013 03:59 PM

I need an All Clear bottle in my quest to visit more waterfalls in South Carolina and North Carolina. It would be great not to have to carry my filter or additional water with me. Plus I would be able to enjoy the fresh water without a chemical taste and with confidence that I will not get sick.

I need the Camelbak Allclear for my daily long distance longboarding and days on the trail. 12 miles each day I work, 40 miles 3 days a week for training. I skate to hike, to get groceries, to explore. I drink a LOT of water. I could truly benefit from the weight I’ll save and with how easily the system works I’ll save time and use it to hydrate my pup too whether she’s pulling me on my longboard or along for a camping/hiking adventure. I interact with a lot of likeminded individuals I meet on the trail, the sidewalk, skate events and find myself constantly being asked about my gear. I would love the opportunity to have the AllClear and share an awesome and essential find.

So i dont have to pack water.

Posted by Sheila Goss - 09/30/2013 04:49 PM

Oh, I need this…we have begun canoe camping ( with our two dogs), at a “mature age”….of course, last trip what did I forget? Yep, the main water jug. So when we take off on our next canoe camping trip in NH, this could live with our gear bag, and then if I have another “senior moment”, we can have a safe water supply!.

I need an All Clear bottle for when I run! I am training for my first ultra marathon and this can take me on some off road paths where the water quality is questionable. This bottle would be the perfect addition to my training gear! It would serve as piece of mind for any avid runner including myself! I just moved to Colorado and gotta step up and start backingpack hydration in style!!!

Posted by Matt Schmunk - 09/30/2013 08:21 PM

I have been riding more and more high distance rides on my bicycle. My biggest problem is staying hydrated and depending on the route, there’s not always an easy way to buy or get water. This would give me an option to stop at a pond or lake and have clean drinking water!

I need an All Clear Bottle because I don’t want to get sick from the water while hiking in Hawaii in 2014!I like how fast it purifies the water and that you can watch the number of seconds left before you can drink it.

Posted by Jeffrey - 09/30/2013 09:31 PM

My kids and I do a camping/hiking trip in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan every summer and the CamelBak All Clear would be an awesome alternative to carrying multiple bottles/backpacks for our hydration. 16 gallons for one battery cycle is quite impressive!

Posted by shauna casolari - 09/30/2013 09:44 PM

I need it so when I go exploring I don’t have to know exactly how long I will be gone and how much water I will need.

Posted by Michael F. Doerr - 10/01/2013 12:07 AM

You can carry a lot more emergency / rescue equipment since you don’t have to carry nearly as much water.

Posted by Idaho Trail Lizard - 10/01/2013 03:11 AM

As a bigger fella have tendency to drink a lot of water on the hiking & mtb trails. As a kid dad & I used to like drinking from streams. Anymore that is too risky. You just never know where in your many travels if that water that looks great really is.
Would carry this in the pack for those MANY iffy moments when you are low on the H²O & have to weigh staying hydrated against having cramps/dysentery.

Since this can charge via USB ports that means it can be charged in the car, via USB recharging packs, solar panel/kits, and the newer PowerTrekk & BioLite. Lots of options out there besides power adapters & computer ports.

I would use this bottle on hiking and mountainbiking trips in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. On long trips I use disinfection pills for my drinking water. But their taste spoil the joy of refreshing water. Thats why the CamelBal UV Light Bottle would make my outdoor trips even greater.

Posted by Alex - 10/01/2013 08:10 AM

I got GIARDIA on my last trip to the Boundary Waters in MN, my younger sister got mixed up and told friends and family I had gotten GONORRHEA! …which made for some pretty interesting conversation. “Clearly,” I could use this water bottle!

Posted by Mitchell Woolever - 10/01/2013 08:51 AM

This bottle would save me a lot of time when I am backpacking and hiking in the mountains of Colorado cause right now it take me more than 15 mins to clean my water.

Posted by jose barra - 10/01/2013 09:04 AM

You go hiking on the Pyrenees, doubt about drinking from a beautiful stream, finally you take a go, then hiking higher upstream there’s a dead goat on the water…. ooooouch… now your tummy hurts and it would have been great to have an all clear bottle…

Posted by Kevin - 10/01/2013 09:43 AM

I always need to bring either a water filter (MiniWorks), or extra water bottles with me, when I’m fly fishing at remote streams. It would be great to be able to just bring one bottle, and save the extra space/weight.

Posted by Mike Watersky - 10/01/2013 04:10 PM

Adventures? University can be as sweaty as an odyssey, but the Clear and fresh water keeps my mind focused.

Posted by Joseph David - 10/01/2013 06:12 PM

When your pee is clear you know you are hydrated. So with this if I turn on the light for 60 seconds the water is cleared! Ahh what a simple fix to having clear pee on the trail. That is why I need the Camel back all clear!

Posted by Nathan Sneller - 10/02/2013 11:24 PM

Hey GJ,
I need an All Clear Filter system because of an upcoming trip to Cambodia next summer. I’ll be assisting in medical clinics in remote villages in the Takeo Province, where people regularly relieve themselves near the wells that they and I will be drinking from. I’ll need to stay hydrated because of the high humidity and heat, so this filter would be perfect for me.

Posted by stuart clark - 10/05/2013 10:32 PM

Because I like free stuff.

Posted by Eric - 10/06/2013 01:38 PM

I need one of these for my upcoming trek in Nepal; as we head up into the mountains this would help us to hydrate enough in order to prevent altitude sickness!

Posted by Duncan Crowley - 10/08/2013 11:25 AM

I need a Camelbak Clear because let’s be honest- it is the coolest way to purify water!

Posted by Jure Koprcina - 10/09/2013 05:41 PM

With this bottle longer trips could be possible as I could refill my stash at every pond.

Posted by Grega Springer - 10/10/2013 02:21 AM

I need it to keep me from getting sick. This item could really save my life!

Posted by Zdravko Koprcina - 10/10/2013 03:07 PM

Remember the tale of the ancient mariner? With this system I wouldn’t end up like him.

Posted by Luka Rawter - 10/10/2013 04:25 PM

I need it to make sure the water is really clear and drinkable whenever I’m touring.

Posted by Stane Perger - 10/20/2013 07:08 AM

I’d like the “all clear” system, so I wouldn’t have to worry about the purity of water. On the treks there are many things that can go wrong, and I don’t want water poisoning to be one of them. Cool gadget!

Posted by Eric - 11/15/2013 04:42 PM
