Mount Katahdin Ascended, Timberland Swag Procured!

Our treasure hunt contest with Spot LLC, ‘Checkpoint: SPOT’, is heating up, with nearly half the prizes claimed, and only one week left for SPOT exclusivity (smartphone users, stay tuned next week!).

Today, we have a new set of winners, Jennifer and Rolf Dengler of Lawrenceville, Penn., have snagged the checkpoint atop Maine’s 5,268-foot Mount Katahdin! The award is a prize package from Timberland, including four pair of shoes and a backpack. (See the prize and checkpoint deets here; click the marker over Maine, clue “End of the AT.”)

Congrats to Jennifer and Rolf! The couple climbed Katahdin this past weekend in torrential rain. “Katahdin was a killer hike,” Jennifer wrote. “It rained the entire time and it was exceptionally overcast and windy — everything was completely soaked, including the camera.”

They might have soaked their camera (the pictures here show that!), but the couple won a backpack full of Timberland swag.
