Dahon Midtown Mini
September 17, 2009, 1:27 pm / Categories: Biking
Mopeds, Segways and even some foldable bikes are fun to ride, but a little goofy to be seen on. To make the latter option a little less so, try Dahon’s new Midtown Mini.
Unlike most foldies, these urban rigs are designed around traditional diamond frames, and, according to the manufacturer, they are compact enough to store in a small apartment. (New Yorkers and urban dorm dwellers we’re looking in your direction.) They also come complete with ultra-light wheels and agile geometry, according to a press release.
This new line from the largest folding bicycle manufacturer in the world includes four rigs, which can be folded for storage in about 30 seconds. They range in price between $899 and $1,599. Available in January. www.dahon.com
