"Heroic, majestic, or impressively great." Those adjectives define the word "epic," and we at GearJunkie have chosen that term as the namesake for a new industry and outdoor-world prize that will highlight adventurers, athletes, gear designers, activists, and artists who affect notable change and do good in the outdoors world. For 2012, we plan to award six EPIC prizes.
