Free Bike Fenders for cyclists affected by Hurricane Sandy
November 2, 2012, 7:08 am / Categories: Biking
In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, many on the East Coast have found biking to be the best way to navigate flooded and congested city streets. We’ve teamed with ARTCRANK and Planet Bike to highlight the stories of people who have turned to two wheels post-Sandy.
If you’ve been getting around by bike in an affected city out East, we’d love to hear about it. Send a short note on how your bike has helped you during the aftermath of the hurricane. Email your story and a picture of you and your ride to our staff.
Thanks to the generosity of Planet Bike, the first 10 story + photo combinations we receive will receive free bike fenders to help stay dry on those still-soaked city streets. Ride on, and stay safe. —Patrick Murphy
