Retailer touts 'Power of Group Buying' for Deals on Gear

GearTribe.com, a new online retailer that offers a Groupon-like formula for deals on outdoors goods, launched this summer focusing on a set of local markets in Oregon, Colorado, and Washington state. Today, the company started its “Anywhere Deals” program, which offers “the power of group-buying to negotiate killer deals” to anyone looking to buy outdoors products online.

You sign up to receive notification of deals. The first “Anywhere Deals” offer, launched this morning, sells an insulated stainless steel water bottle made by Hydro Flask.

As a bonus, anyone who buys a Hydro Flask via this “Anywhere Deal” program will be helping a good cause — GearTribe is currently supporting a film project based on the life of legendary alpinist Jeff Lowe. The next group GearTribe will support is the Seattle Mountaineers.

Sign up to be a part of the “tribe” at GearTribe.com!
