On July 20th, 18 people, from 8 countries, fought their way to the summit of K2. It was the most successful day in the history of the mountain, but it was not without tragedy. Two climbers lost their lives, reinforcing K2’s reputation as the most dangerous mountain in the world.

On Sunday December 16th, at 2 p.m. EST, NBC Sports and Jeep World of Adventure Sports will be broadcasting a one hour television special about the 2007 Shared Summits K2 Expedition. It is being broadcast nationwide on your local NBC station. For more information visit: www.SharedSummits.com

To celebrate the expedition, the sponsors have donated equipment, airline tickets and more for a sweepstakes. Register online at www.SharedSummits.com

For those unable to view the show on TV, www.NBCSports.com will debut a web cast tomorrow at 3pm EST.
