Kayak Team Vs. Olympic Rowers On Australian River Sprint (Who Is Fastest?)

Two Australian Olympic paddling teams faced off in an epic speed battle in Melbourne, Australia, this past fall. The purpose: To settle the debate, once and for all, on who is faster — rowers or kayakers.

The M4 (rowing) team won the Silver Medal in the 2012 London Olympics. The K4 (kayaking) team won Gold in London.

While the race is close, perhaps a greater lesson to be learned is not actually who is faster, but that Australia produces some seriously badass paddlers from both disciplines.
