KEEN launched 20 new lightweight shoe models this week under its new CNX line. We previewed the line here, and now we’re giving away three pairs to three lucky readers this week. To enter, simply follow the steps below. . .
1) Go to our CNX preview article here — “Tread Lightly: 20 low-profile KEEN shoes”
2) Click the “Like” button on the top of the article to share it on Facebook.
3) Pick a shoe! In the comments area of the article write which shoe from the line you like, and why.
That’s it. We’ll pick the 3 most fun and interesting answers and ship out new CNX shoes this month. Good luck!
I love the Clearwater style keen’s…they really suit my style. I like to wear sandals..but I always tend to bang up my lil piggies while i’m out trackin down good snapshots with my camera . This shoe takes care of that with the brilliant design, a toe guard! from the pictures the insole looks like it would be like floatin’ on a cloud. The synch-up lace is great because lets face it who likes to bend over and retie a lace when your trekkin through the woods, you might miss somethin’! …Great lookin shoe, a guy from minn’sota could really use a pair, dontchano..
I LOVE CASCADE WOMENS SIZE 8,,I NEED NEW WATER WORK OUT SHOES AS MY FILA SKELE-TOES ARE SHOT FROM ALL THE CLORINE USED IN SENIOR CENTER THERAPHY POOL THAT I ATTEND EVERYDAY AFTER THE SENIORS ARE DONE SO THAT OUR AQUATICS EXERCISE GROUP CAN DO WATER AREOBICS,ZUMBA,WEIGHT TRAINING AND BODY BUILDING!!!
Clearwaters -lime green sandles. I am in terrible pain with neuropathy, athritis, fibro – and I found with Keen – it really helps with the pain ! With those sandles, I will be able to walk the dog in the summer months with good support and traction – and protection from kicking rocks on trails – thank you !
I would definitely pick the Mercer Lace in Bright Green! I live in Sugar Land, TX & wear Keen trail shoes or sandals everyday! The Mercer Lace could be worn year round here in Sugar Land and look smart with jeans, capris or shorts. Due to the lighter weight, I could pop them in my carry on for a fun weekend in San Antonio or Austin. Hoping I win!!!
I love Keen shoes. They are the perfect shoes for summer fun. I would like the Cascade for women. I will wear them hiking, to the lake, to the beach, to the water park with the kids-all summer long and they will still look brand new because that is how good keen’s are
I have never tried on or purchased a pair of Keen shoes, but I think they would be a perfect choice for me and my lifestyle. I particularly like the Clearwater style – I frequently take care of my 2 grandchildren who are 3 and 5 years old. These shoes would enable me to chase them around outside, running through puddles, sprinkler parks, zoos and any other challenge they present to me. Whew, I need all the help I can get!!!!
I love the Women’s Clearwater in Norse Blue. I’ll be spending the summer at the American River trying to escape the heat since I’m pregnant with my fourth child. I’ll need all the help I can get to remain comfortable and stylish in the state I’m in while chasing after my three other river rats.
I’m grooving out to the “Tunari” because it rhymes with Atari. Someday I hope to go on a Safari, and perhaps I’ll wear the Tunari. I bet these would go great with a Sari, or even drive a Ferrari. Perhaps I’ll have better luck in this contest than Mata Hari, so I’ll end this comment with I’m sorry.
The name Cascade implies flowing like water; going where the undulation of the land takes you. I liken it to the flow of my own fitness journey that started out with a home fitness program, then transforming into a group program, then to running, then to yoga. I don’t know where I’ll go next, but I don’t really have to think about it. At some point I will feel another undulation and I will just naturally follow that path.
OK I FIRST SAW THE KEEN LINE IN CHICAGO IN 2002. I WAS THERE TO RUN THE CHICAGO MARATHON..I HAD NO EXTRA MONEY TO BUY ANYTHING IN THE EXPO HALL BUT I WALKED PAST THE KEEN BOOTH WHICH I HAD NEVER HEARD OF THEM I TURNED AROUND AND SAID IT DOESN’T COST ANYTHING TO TRY THEM ON SO I DID AND FELL IN LOVE IMMEDIATELY. I WAS WITH MY BOYFRIEND AT THE TIME WHO OWNED A SHOE STORE AND TOLD HIM HE HAD TO BRING KEENS TO BLOOMINGTON…IT HAPPENED AND NOW KEENS ARE ALL OVER THIS TOWN ON MOMS, DADS AND KIDS EVERYONE LOVES THEM. I WAS AT A SCHOOL CARNIVAL AND I WAS IN SHOCK, ME, OTHER VOLUNTEERS, THE KID PLAYING THE GAME AND THE DAD ALL HAD KEENS ON AND WE WERE ALL STRANGERS SO THERE YOU HAVE IT…LOVE..LOVE..LOVE DELANEY LACE WOULD BE SWEET ON THE DANCE FLOOR!
These all look great, but I think the Medomak (kid’s) would be a great choice for my son. I teach his nature preschool class and these would help him explore the great outdoors, fill up the bird feeder he bought with his own money, and go on the frequently requested nature hikes!
Surely digging the Tunari size 9, I have felt Keen rubber before, and these rubbers make for good terrain feedback on whatever surface you are on or in. Big fan of the lacing system, nice and tight to the foot and not bulky, less chances of my breaking another ankle on the AT. I would love to see how they handle the PCT or even Long Trail, I need new shoes, a big fan of Keen, help a broke ass hiker out! I don’t care who is wearing them, I want to be wearing them, on the trail, in the car, passed out on the plane, they all look comfy.
I would go with the Haven, I like the color purple and they would look great on my feet. I thing they would be a great asset for when I start to train for the bike team at work. We are getting ready to gear up for the summer festivals in our area and I will need something comfortable on my feet. Keen has proven through and through that it is the best made footware a person can wear. That is why own six pairs of keens already….
I love the KEEN Women’s Cascade. Several years ago I fell down a flight of stairs severely injuring my left ankle. My ankle healed, but I had lingering pain and foot cramping. In spite of my injury and ankle weakness, I was determined to enjoy my trip to Yellowstone. I bought a pair of Keen sandals. They were the only pair of shoes I could find where I had both arch support and toe protection. I climbed to the summit of Mt. Washburn, wearing my sandals, walking through melting snow pack. What a thrill! That was 2 years ago. Today, age 45, I am training and running again. This summer I plan on hiking Mt Harney and climbing the Cathedral Spires in the Black Hills. Not sure, if I’ll be up to rock climbing, but I am definitely making my way up the spires. I’d love to do it again in some lightweight, low profile Keens. The toe comfort and protection helped me to rehab my ankle. I’m a fan for life. Thank you, KEEN,for helping me meet my goals. This summer I will climb to the summit of granite spires and scale to the top of this year’s personal goal.
Cascade looks great because…
1. They’re KEENs!
2. They’re GREEN!
3. I have plantar fascitis, it makes walking very uncomfortable. I need a great shoe with good support just to make it through the day. A lighter weight shoe that I know I already love is beyond perfect!
We’ll I didnt win round one……but I would love to try a pair of the “Tunari” on this years 2650 mile Pacific Crest Trail 2013 Adventure. They look like they will keep the rocks out while hiking in softer sand. I am a disabled hiker and use KEEN Oregon PCT Boots while hiking and normally have cheap camp shoes, but now KEEN offers such a lite weight shoe….I really want to try them. I bet they would look nice in a picture on top of Mt Whitney. Good luck to everyone else who enters.DIP
My pick would be Clearwater. If I win I could finally say I own a pair of Keens. My fiance loves her Venice H2 sandals, its all she talks about all summer and keeps telling me how comfortable they are! If I had my own pair of Clearwater Keens I could tease her about how comfortable they are and we could sport our Keens together!
So, I am sitting here trying to come up with a whitty comment befitting of winning myself a new pair of Keens. I am usually quite a wordsmith, but find myself at a loss for ‘whit’ at the moment. I can tell you this. I love every one of my five pair of Keens. I am a geologist by academics and love to hike. I have flat feet, which is a challenge as most shoes, especially anything decent for hiking have huge arches and cause me a great deal of pain. Keens fit me to a tee. I do not have Keen sandals, as I just mentioned to my sister yesterday after she ordered a new pair, but they will come for me at some point. Instead today I would like to vote for the Keen Cascades, the men’s ones in grey and yellow, but I would like to vote for these in hope of winning them for my Dad. He is a senior, who is on a fixed income, recently had knee replacement surgery, (has flat feet, and very narrow heels-hard to fit) but LOVES his old pair of Keen sandals that I handed down to him a few years ago. He loves the toe cap, as he is always bumping into things, combined with the coolness the sandals provides to his feet. He lives in the country and every step is a hike for him. I think he would not only love brand new Keens, but can not afford them himself, so he would think winning a pair was the best thing ever. Please consider my vote for Keens for my Dad, from an already hooked Keen fan, his daughter. He is a size 9 men’s. I believe. His size has changed after several surgeries, but we can check for sure against his old ones when I win. Ahhhh! The power of positive thinking and the desire to pay it forward. Thank you for the opportunity to spread the love, literally and KEENLY.
