In 2009, nine international teams made the trip to southern Chile and the Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race. The event, from February 10 – 20, 2009, traveled from Torres del Paine National Park to Cape Froward on the tip of the South American continent. It featured about 590KM of trekking, paddling, mountain biking, climbing, and backcountry navigation. Here is an overview map and, further below, a more cropped in look at the race course.
