A group of Boy Scout Leaders could face criminal charges after posting a video to Facebook of them pushing over an ancient rock formation in Utah’s Goblin Valley State Park.

The story, covered yesterday by the Salt Lake Tribune, indicates that three men were visiting Goblin Valley when they decided to record their antics.

The man filming the video is heard saying: “Some little kid was about to walk down here and die. It’s all about saving lives here at Goblin Valley.”

The Salt Lake Tribune reports that three men have come forward in the case, which is currently being investigated by State Parks authorities.
