$100,000 in grants is up for grabs to fund three mountain-bike trail projects. Bell Helmets is providing the cash, and the brand, along with the International Mountain Bicycling Association, has selected 12 finalist projects.

The general public will decide who gets the money… and what biking communities get the new trails. From Minnesota to Colorado to South Carolina, the Bell Built Grants will fund a bike park/pump track, a flow trail, and downhill/gravity trail.

You can vote at the company’s Facebook page (must “Like” the brand to access the “Bell Build” app). In addition, gear giveaways and a grand prize trip with Western Spirit bike guides are up for grabs.

Voting is now through early April. Grant recipients will be chosen and announced at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, Calif., on April 19.
