Outdoorzy.com's Gearzy Awards

Who makes the best tent, sleeping bag or rain shell? Cast your vote in the Gearzy Awards on Outdoorzy.com. Starting this week, you can have a say by choosing from the slate of four nominees in 11 categories at http://www.outdoorzy.com/gearzy.

Every voter who casts a ballot will have a chance to win prizes from Wenger, Merrell, Coghlan’s, Bridgedale, Oboz Footwear, Timex and more. The winning brands will be announced in January 2009.

Anyone can vote in the Gearzy Awards. Product nominees were chosen by Outdoorzy.com’s panel of gear-testing bloggers and include companies who manufacture backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, lights, mountain bikes, climbing gear, clothing, shoes, socks, and watches. A “Gear Maker of the Year” will be chosen as well. Real-time polling shows which brands are leading throughout the Gearzy Awards.
