It’s been a fruitful season so far for Team GearJunkie/YogaSlackers, including 10+ adventure races in locales ranging from Patagonia to Minnesota to Idaho’s panhandle region. We are waiting for one point adjustment from a race earlier this summer, but after that our team will officially be in 6th place overall in the country on Checkpoint Tracker’s national ranking system!

This week, the team headed to the Yosemite, Calif., area to race in the Gold Rush Mother Lode, a four-day expedition event that starts today. After a first-place victory in a version of this race last summer the team has its sights set on the podium again.

Finally, in October, the team travels to Kentucky to race in the National Championships. The best teams in the USA will be there, and the race will be a serious test for GearJunkie/YogaSlackers.

Thanks readers for being a part of our wildly successful season thus far, and please wish us luck in the upcoming big races this fall!
