If each of us could pursue our adventure goals and dreams without financial burdens, I think we’d all be more likely to make them happen. Teva, the outdoor footwear icon, believes the same. So, the company scraped up $10,000 to be rewarded to individuals in what it is calling the Teva Life Agent Program.

One deserving recipient was recently awarded the first $10,000 prize. Randy Pierce, left blind by a neurological disorder in 1989 at age 22, set a goal of climbing the highest 48 peaks in New Hampshire to benefit his non-profit enterprise, 2020 Vision Quest. Mr. Pierce, weakened by the disorder, fought his way from a wheelchair and back onto his feet to pursue his dreams. His passion to seek adventure and not let his physical challenges keep it from him is an example of what the Teva program seeks to reward.

If you would like to keep up with Randy’s progress — or even get information about submitting your own application for the program — you can do so at TevaLifeAgents.com. As Teva states on the site, “Awards will be granted on a rolling basis and applications will be accepted throughout the year.”
