Team GearJunkie/YogaSlackers heads into the wilds today on the 4-day-long Untamed New England Adventure Race, one of this summer’s premier endurance events and a qualifier for the Adventure Racing World Championship 2012 in France. The course includes biking, trail running, paddling, orienteering, and ropes through an immense swath of the wilds of northern Maine.

In all, there are 49 teams on the course, including world champion Team Thule of Sweden. GearJunkie/YogaSlackers is comprised for this event of Jason and Chelsey Magness (husband and wife), Andy Magness (brother), and the team’s stalwart “bull” Daniel Staudigel.

You can follow the action at Untamedne.com plus here on GearJunkie, where we will post updates to social media as well as a post-race report once the squad checks in — in 4 days! — at the finish area in remote northern Maine. Race on!
