Video: 'Gold Rush Mother Lode' 4-Day Race
September 21, 2011, 10:44 am / Categories: Adventure Racing
Earlier this month, Team GearJunkie/YogaSlackers rolled in just under the wire at the finish line during the 4-day Gold Rush Mother Lode expedition race to take 2nd place overall. The AR World Series event entailed mountain biking, trekking, navigation, paddling, and a pack-raft section — all played out for 300 miles and four, long and mostly sleepless days and nights. This video, edited by the team’s Jason Magness, gives an inside peek at the Gold Rush Mother Lode, high and low points included in the cut.
—Team GearJunkie/YogaSlackers currently ranks 4th in the USA overall on the Checkpoint Tracker National Rankings leaderboard. Follow the team on the new team micro-site this season as they race around the planet.
