We have a winner! Matt Eder of Portland, Ore., has been drawn from among the thousands who signed up for the Gear Junkie’s Choose-Your-Adventure Sweepstakes. Eder, a 37-year-old sales rep and devoted Mount Hood skier, picked REI Adventures’ Sequoia Winter Mountaineering Clinic as his trip. This three-day adventure includes courses on winter camping, backcountry skiing and mountaineering in the peaks of California’s Sequoia National Park.

In addition to airfare and the all-expenses-paid trip for Eder and a travel companion, he wins a gear outfitting from head-to-toe with all the essential equipment from sponsors REI, Adventure Medical Kits, Bear Naked Trail Mix and Wigwam.
