“Inspiring travel by bicycle.” That’s the ambition of a glossy new online publication, Bunyan Velo, launched last month. Photo-heavy articles cover gravel racers, mountain bikers, “bike-packers,” and bicycle tourists. Founder Lucas Winzenburg is a graduate student at the University of Minnesota, focusing on cartography. Winzenburg offered GearJunkie a sneak peek via the photos below, shot around the world to capture the thrill and freedom of travel on a bike. —Amy Oberbroeckling
