House Bound? Big Agnes Wants You to Camp at Home

Lots of outdoor brands are getting creative on how they can support their communities during coronavirus. Here’s just one way you can get involved.

Today, Big Agnes is launching a social media contest asking how its fans #campfromhome. The goal is for people across the country to embrace the spirit of the outdoors from the safety of their homes.

With the number of coronavirus cases increasing every day, staying at home is more important than ever.

As an incentive to get everyone involved, Big Agnes is giving away free sleeping bags and T-shirts to a few lucky people who post during the #campfromhome campaign.

How to Participate

Here’s how to get in on it:

  • Set up your tent inside or in your backyard and “camp out.” Or, teach your kids or family how to set up a tent, camp stove, or any other camp gear.
  • Then, post a photo of you camping from home with Big Agnes gear on Instagram and tag #campfromhome and @BigAgnes_ in the photo.
  • The contest winners will be announced on March 30.

Just because we are all “camped out” at home waiting for the coronavirus outbreak to resolve doesn’t mean we have to forget about camping altogether. And the best way to stay local? Camp in your own backyard.

If you’re in quarantine and still itching for the outdoors, get creative with this house-bound style of camping — and have fun.
