We haven’t tested this exact model but loved the similar Summit stove in our Best Camping Stove review. The Summit has adjustable feet and slightly more cooking area but costs roughly $30 more. Other than that, the rest of the specs are close.
The Everest High-Pressure 2 has the features you’d expect in a camp stove regularly priced more than $100: auto-ignition, two large burners, adjustable temperature controls, and sloped sidewalls to block winds without getting in the way.
What catches our eye is the power output. Two burners each push 20,000 BTUs. That’s plenty of heat — and room — to quickly boil water on both at the same time.
More details: The Everest 2X Stove weighs 12 pounds and has a 21.5 x 10-inch cooking space. The burners are set 12 inches apart. Camp Chef claims a 3-minute average boil time.
When it’s cleanup time, the stainless steel drip tray can be removed and cleaned away from the stove. Also, the steel grates are nickel-coated.
