Venturing outdoors, breathing fresh air, scouting fresh lines — that’s what Eddie Bauer athlete Drew Tabke and athlete and pilot Lexi DuPont accomplished this November.
In this 4-minute short film, the two athletes reflect on the uncertainty of this past year, and they discuss how setting goals and venturing in the outdoors bring some “normalcy” back into their lives.
The duo’s “recon” mission took them to the North Cascade Mountains of Washington state via a little two-seater plane.
“Early ski season recon missions are a skier’s annual practice to set goals, check out new zones, and get inspired for the upcoming season,” Dupont said.
“In seeking a return to normalcy, this ritual is more important to recognize. Powder dreams are not canceled in 2020.”
