‘Treasure Hunt: Roanoke’ Registration Now Open!

Have you ever dreamed of an outdoors scavenger hunt event where you can collect points for gear in the mountains and woods. . . well, we have! Now, next month that gear dream becomes reality. We are happy to announce the launch of Gear Junkie’s “Treasure Hunt: Roanoke 2011”, our second annual swag-o-rama where tens of thousands of dollars worth of outdoors gear is up for the taking! Registration opens today.

The Treasure Hunt will be a “$40,000+ gear extravaganza” happening in Roanoke, Va., on Oct. 23. It is a marquee event in the city’s new weekend-long Roanoke Outdoor Circus festival.

You can see the success of the event from last year, where 350+ treasure hunters scoured the woods in Roanoke for points. The racers claimed more than $40,000 in gear last year!
