It’s “Gear of the Year” time in the glossy outdoor magazine world, with Outside releasing its top picks earlier this week and today National Geographic Adventure (which is no longer a print publication, only a website) offering 27 fall/winter gear picks in a story written by Steve Casimiro, a longtime editor with the publication.
