Best Of The Best… ‘Top Gear’ Of The Year

Made-In-USA Wool Top — Rocky Mountain-raised sheep provide the fine merino wool for apparel startup company Voormi, which is based in Pagosa Springs, Colo. We loved the brand’s high-end High-E Hoodie ($229) and wore it for days and weeks on end in 2013.

Unique touches to the piece include a fitted hood that has a face covering and a “dual surface thermal wool” fabric with a water-resistant DWR coating, making the merino top usable as a super-warm layer or a jacket on its own.
