“????????????????????Smaller, lighter, mightier” — that’s the gist of a new camera from GoPro, according to the company. The HERO3+ Black Edition was launched today.

It costs $399 and is GoPro’s new flagship unit.

The camera is 20% smaller than the previous model and has better battery life. An improved lens, faster wi-fi, a low-light mode, and a new wide-angle “SuperView” mode are further upgrades.

The primary improvements with this model are highlighted in the graphic above. No fundamental changes from the previous camera, but there are some nice upgrades for sure.

See the new GoPro video below and get more details on the camera at GoPro’s HERO3+ Black Edition page.
