This video is another glimpse into the burgeoning world of (real) hoverboards. Startup company Omni Hoverboards has built functional propeller-based units you stand on and fly.

The company has a goal to make the hoverboard commercially available by 2017. Patents are pending and testing continues, including this video of a session over a lake. “This one doesn’t show a crash or anything,” writes the company,” everything went according to plan.”
