Send positive vibes and some rugged kicks to an individual or family ‘on the front lines’ or ‘at home fighting through the crisis.’

KEEN will give away some $10 million worth of shoes to help folks weather this surreal and unprecedented time. And the Portland-based shoemaker is being particularly generous with who will benefit: anyone.

That’s right, a total of 100,000 people will receive a coupon code for a free pair of shoes or boots from KEEN. And there are no strings attached. Just head over to the KEEN website and nominate someone — anyone — who needs or would appreciate a new pair of shoes.

“Whether these shoes help a worker stay comfortable during a long shift or simply allow people to get outside to breathe in the benefits of nature while safely practicing social distancing, we feel compelled to share our strengths for the common good,” KEEN says on its site.

The process is simple: Enter your email and the email of the person or family receiving the shoes. KEEN asks that for family nominations, it truly be a family in need. Submit your pick (along with a personal note), and the recipient will get an email with a coupon code. There are no hidden costs or catches — even the shipping is free.

So head over to KEEN and do some good. As the brand notes, let’s “take positive action and build connection in a time of increasing isolation.”
