One man pulled himself from a frozen lake with his Leatherman. Another was freed from a burning car. Welcome to ‘Tool Tales.’
Multi-tools are among the most versatile (and essential) gear. Leatherman launched a project, “Tool Tales,” to share unique, sometimes harrowing stories told by its fans.
In all, the company collected 4,000+ unique stories! And as the Tool Tales project is built on user submissions, Leatherman invites you to share your story about a multi-tool in action.
“Over the years, we’ve received thousands of stories from Leatherman owners about how their tool saved the day,” said Leatherman spokeswoman Carie Behe. “For a lot of our fans, their Leatherman has become such an intricate a part of their everyday life.”
Behe noted the brand “simply makes the tool, but our fans make it heroic, so we’re incredibly honored to be able to share them with the world.”
Tool Tales: Leatherman In Your Time Of Need
Saving the day means different things to different people. In addition to publishing the stories on its site, Leatherman chose a few stories to tell in video form.
