Lululemon announced it is recalling about 300,000 women’s tops with elastic drawstrings because they can snap back, causing face or eye injury.

“When the elastic draw cord with a hard tip in the hood or around the neck area is pulled or caught on something and released, it can snap back, impact the face area, and result in injury,” reports the company in a recall notice.

Seven incidents have been reported, resulting in seven injuries to the face and eye.

The company sold about 133,000 tops with elastic drawstrings in the United States and 185,000 in Canada.

The company says consumers should stop wearing the tops and either remove the cord or contact Lululemon to request a new top. The company can also send written instructions on how to replace the dangerous cord.
