This type of flight takes incredible skill — not to mention at least a modest serving of good luck. Any of the bad kind and, well, let’s just say there is no room for error.

But Uli Emanuele does have the skills, and courage to keep it together in what could be called courageous, record-breaking, reckless or all three.

Here he pilots arguably the most technical and difficult BASE jump ever, one he’s been preparing for over the past 3 years. But where will this sport draw the line? It seems that the margin between life and death grows ever smaller with every advancement in technique and equipment.

Regardless, this is a remarkable accomplishment.
