Hyundai Elantras and Subarus will be among the more than 150 automobiles in the Zipcar fleet equipped with Yakima’s StreamLine base system. There is no surcharge for equipped vehicles.

The racks will be paired with SUPDawg paddle board mounts, FatCat 6 ski and snowboard mounts, and FrontLoader bike mounts.

So far, the racks are live in 17 markets in North America: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Portland, Ore., Sacramento/Davis, Calif., San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa Bay, Fla., Washington D.C., and Vancouver.  To see if equipped vehicles are available near you, check the Zipcar reservation page.

Zipcar also released tutorial videos on how to use the respective mounts for skis and snowboards, bikes, and SUPs and surfboards.
