Wrench, Pry, Cut: New Knives And Tool Revealed

Portland-area based Columbia River Knife and Tool (CRKT) is known for quality knives at reasonable prices. At last week’s Blade Show in Atlanta, they revealed a suite of new blades and a rugged everyday carry tool.

The smooth lines of Ken Onion’s Outrage invites a solid grip to put the blade to work. The modified drop point blade is quickly deployed through its ball bearing pivot system. To cut the weight, the handle is tooled out of aluminum, giving it a clean mechanical look.

When asked about his inspiration, Steve Jennings, the knife’s designer, shares “I was looking to create a seriously large knife that could fold into a relatively small package during hunts when space is minimal…”.
