Eagle Creek Pack-It Travel Gear
Eagle Creek’s new fleet of Pack-It cubes is here. The cube categories are the Reveal (for visibility), the Isolate (antimicrobial, treated with Protx2), and, simply, the Gear (for protection). The Pack-Its (from $10) have angled zippers, interior mesh sleeves, webbing loops, and 900-denier twill, 50-denier translucent ripstop, or 300-denier polyester weave exterior fabric. They come in different shapes, colors, and sizes.
Coors Banquet x Huckberry Gear
Huckberry and Coors have paired up in their Golden Hour Series: a three-part series of limited-edition gear. The lineup includes tees, koozies, hats, and this Coors Banquet Trucker Jacket ($198). The jacket is a durable washed denim fabric with a fleecy twill lining, corduroy collar, dual snap chest pockets, and custom co-branded patches. Ten percent of proceeds from the collection will go to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.
Outdoor Research Protective Badana
The latest player on the face mask scene is Outdoor Research’s Protective Bandana Kit ($40). Outdoor Research wants to help you ditch cotton and find an all-day mask solution with this bandana. To do this, OR developed a two-layer fabric treated with HEIQ V-BLOCK for resistance against microbes. It comes with a three-pack of high-filtration efficiency filters (greater than 95% filtration).
Kate's Real Food Dark Chocolate Mint
Kate’s Real Food is out with a new flavor that’s pretty darn delicious. The Dark Chocolate Mint bar ($15 per six-pack) has all USDA-certified organic ingredients, like peanut butter, gluten-free oats, yummy dark chocolate, peppermint extract, and cacao powder. The bars have 160 calories per serving. We love the texture, serving size, and hint o’ mint flavor.
RucPac Backpack Conversion Straps
RucPac’s latest gear isn’t gear at all, but rather a way to carry it. The Hardcase Conversion Straps ($99) can convert any size of wheeled hard case (Pelican and Peli case-compatible) into a backpack without obstructing access. The straps consist of a padded shoulder area and straps, with adjustable lengths and widths to evenly distribute weight. The straps are also easily removable and fold up to be stored when not in use.
Four Corners 'The Bikeraft Guide'
Four Corners Guides just launched its first book on Indiegogo. The “ultimate how-to guide,” the book is made for anyone who wants to learn the basics of bikerafting. The funds from the campaign will be used to print, distribute, and pay the 20 contributors. “The Bikeraft Guide” book and package (from $30) also includes perks like stickers, tie-down straps, accompanying how-to videos, and more. The book’s authors are Steve “Doom” Fassbinder and Lizzy Scully.
Burton One World Apparel
Burton’s One World Collection — made in celebration of Burton’s “One World” film — features apparel made with Polartec fabrics. The One World Insulator ($170) is made with breathable Polartec Alpha fabric, and the Full-Zip Fleece ($140) is made with Polartec Power Dry wicking fabric. Both have Bluesign-certified materials, stretch cuffs, and reflective details.
PHOOZY Antimicrobial Phone Case
PHOOZY’s newest phone case, the Apollo II Antimicrobial ($40), is a thermal-protective, germ-resistant, drop-proof beast. The case has Phoozy’s signature chromium thermal barrier to insulate against cold and protect against heat, paired with a new Agion antimicrobial lining the brand claims can reduce microbes by up to 99.99%. It’s also drop-proof up to 8 feet and comes in three style choices.
HeadPeace Headbands
Make a splash with a HeadPeace original headband ($14), like this Electric Splash pattern. All of the bands are made with a super-lightweight 96% rayon and 4% spandex fabric and can fold and unfold from 2 to 5.75 inches wide. HeadPeace is based in Colorado but makes its headbands with a Fair Trade manufacturer in Nepal.
