Osprey Daylite Duffel

Osprey daylite duffel

It’s simple, versatile, sustainable, and under $100. Osprey’s popular Daylite pack is finally available in a duffel version. The Daylite Duffel ($70-90) is made with a 600-denier recycled PET fabric, GRS-certified recycled materials, and Bluesign-approved fabric. It comes in 30L, 45L, or 60L sizes. Each size duffel has a U-shaped zip compartment, a side horizontal zip pocket, and multiple carrying options.

Goodyear Bike Vector 4Seasons Tires

Vector 4Season road tires

Goodyear Bikes‘ newest ultra-high-performance road tires are the Vector 4Seasons ($70). Yes, there are already all-weather road tires on the market. But the Vector tires utilize the latest in materials (like its super-sticky Dynamic: Silica4 compound for better grip on wet roads) to optimize performance across a wider range of conditions. The Vectors come in tube and tubeless options and still use the brand’s R:Shield puncture belt under the tread. The tires come in 25-32mm widths; the 25c size weighs 250 g.

NEMO x First Lite Tracker Backpacking Tent

We’re pretty excited about this collab between equipment brand NEMO and hunting apparel brand First Lite. The NEMO x First Lite Tracker Backpacking Tent ($400) is built for the backcountry as a packable, ultralight option for those who may be staying outside long hours. The tent has a ripstop nylon floor, an asymmetrical design for maximized gear storage and head space, and is tapered to fight against wind. It includes a fly.

Roval Components

roval alpinist cockpit

Roval is making its first move into components. To complement its line of tires, wheelsets, and valves, Roval created handlebar and carbon seatpost components. The collection includes the Alpinist Cockpit Bars ($600) with full carbon and titanium step bolts and an integrated computer-mounting point to achieve low weight (255 g) and a smooth ride. The Cockpit has a 6-degree stem angle.

Victorinox I.N.O.X. Carbon Watch

Victorinox’s I.N.O.X. Carbon LE watch ($1,100) has a carbon composite case, a camp paracord strap with titanium buckle, and is water-resistant to 200 m. It also has a fully luminescent digital camouflage dial with a date window inside the face and comes with two additional bands. The I.N.O.X. Carbon LE is limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide.

The North Face x Girl Scouts T-Shirts

The North Face partnered with Girl Scouts of the USA to increase women’s and girls’ involvement in outdoor spaces. The brand will donate $15 from each Girl Scouts North Face T-Shirt ($25) to support Girl Scouts membership scholarships for girls in communities impacted by COVID-19. The tee is decorated with adventure badge-style icons.

Hydaway Collapsible Bottle

Hydaway has really revamped its product since we last saw it. The new Hydaway ($25) is collapsable (down to 1.25 inches) but with a new tumbler design and components. It has a silicone body, 18/8 food-grade stainless steel rim, and an insulating foam sleeve. Hydaway has already raised over nine times its fundraising goal.

Goodr Mach G Sunglasses

Goodr’s new shades are a classic aviator style designed to be a bit more running- and cycling-friendly. The Mach Gs ($35) have a no-slip frame with 100% polarized, gradient lenses to block UVA and UVB light for just $35. The Goodr Mach Gs come in six color styles. We like the no-slip grip coating on the frame and the fun color combos.

7mesh GORE-TEX Rebellion Jacket

Rebellion GORE-TEX Jacket

7mesh’s fall MTB collection includes this GORE-TEX collab jacket: the Rebellion Hi-Visibility ($350). Made for “the wettest” conditions, the Rebellion is a waterproof and now highly visible, pocket-packable cycling jacket. The Rebellion High-Visibility model has color-contrast panels and extra reflectivity. The jacket weighs under 200 g. The new collection will launch online here next week.

Vasque Breeze WT GTX Boots

VQ winter terrain gtx

Just out, the Vasque Breeze WT GTX ($200) is the brand’s latest boot built for cold. The boot has the same last and Nubuck outer as the Vasque Breeze AT. But the WT (which stands for “winter terrain”) means the shoe also has GORE-TEX waterproofing and 200 g of 3M Thinsulate insulation. It’s also available in women’s sizing.

BioLite 750 Headlamp

Biolite headlamp 750

BioLite Energy jumped from a max output of 330 lumens in its last headlamp to 750 lumens in its latest. The BioLite 750 ($100) has the same 3D SlimFit construction strap but with better integration in the back for the battery pack and two new run modes. It has eight different lighting options, with red, white, spot or strobe lights, and a red rear light as well. The 750 can run for 150 hours on low and is rechargeable.
