Debuting today, ‘The Glacier Express’ presents a five-episode film series tracking an epic travel-snowboarding concept.

Three boarders venture to the Swiss Alps for a train-based, powder-filled adventure. The Glacier Express train has been running since 1930 and travels across southern Switzerland. It traverses over several mountain passes and hundreds of bridges.

But these passengers aren’t just riding the train — they’re disembarking at each major stop for mountain exploration.

The film series, produced by Holden Outerwear and Puzzle Media, features gorgeous film footage of snow-covered alps, valleys, and the towns in between.

“With so many different means of transportation these days, a great way to plan a new adventure is to look outside the box,” said filmmaker Gray Thompson.

The film series’ first episode launches November 18 on Holden’s Vimeo channel. Episodes will premiere weekly. Check out the first episode and second episode here.
