‘Snow Crawler’ Concept Snowmobile

Designer Michal Bonikowski built this thing for one reason: Because he could.

“Beautiful things may arouse perverse needs in us. Like some park exhibitionists we want to show them to the world around us, whether anyone likes it or not. This is just that kind of a vehicle,” Bonikowski writes.

Designed for a single person, the Snow Crawler concept has an electric drive to charge up steep slopes or zip along snowy trails. And while there are lots of snowmobiles and snow cats in production, none look quite like this beast.

Bonikowski cites a “marriage of excellent handling, all-terrain vehicle, and a closed cabin for the driver.”

Looks like fun, although don’t get your hopes up. This is a one-off design we won’t be seeing in stores any time soon.
