Ok, so I’ve only seen the trailer, but the new ski movie “Valhalla” from Sweetgrass Productions looks pretty sick.

The Patagonia-sponsored flick features a 70’s hippy/psychedelic vibe coupled with some incredible big mountain ripping, amazing aerials, childhood dreams and lots and lots of powder. See the trailer below.

Staring Cody Barnhill, Sierra Quitiquit, Alex Monot, and Kazushi Yamauchi, Valhalla “is the tale of one man’s search to rediscover the freedom of his youth. Feeling the distant heat of its fire still burning in the mountains of the frozen north, he goes in search of those tending the flame—the untamed, the wild, and the outcast dwelling on the fringe.” This dramatic summary is all according to the Vimeo description.

Just what the doctor ordered to get our blood pumping for the upcoming ski season.

The movie premiers at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Paramount Theater in Denver. From there the film tour will hit ski and ride-friendly locales across the country and world in the upcoming months.

Tickets to the premier are $19.50 and available at TicketHorse.
