Tibetan Orange Heat Map Print, Darkest Spruce Yosemite Sofa Print, and Vintage White Sparse Mo Print are not your average tent colors.

From The North Face, the Homestead Collection applies a unique look to many of TNF’s camping necessities. Its packs, shelter, tote bag, and sleeping bag are newly designed, and the line boasts many technical elements.

Inspiration: The North Face Homestead Collection

Last year in the field, The North Face employees rented a cabin in the Sierras. Within the cabin, an old knitted pattern on a couch inspired the use of uniquely colored gear. Deer, trees, and mountains covered the cushions and became the inspiration for the Yosemite Sofa Print.

The brand said it hopes to engage younger consumers interested in entry-level camping gear. Could this line hook the next generation of outdoors enthusiasts?

TNF designed the gear for easy set up, stunning looks, and durability. It carries a reasonable, but not cheap, price tag for good gear.

The wild designs debuting with the Homestead Collection extend to a sleeping bag, tent, shelter, daypack, tote bag, duffel, and backpacking pack.

The Homestead Collection tent, the Domey 3, is based on an older TNF tent design. It’s waterproof, comes with three full doors, and a full mesh skylight—great for clear skies and stargazing.

The Domey 3 retails for $259 and weighs 7 lbs. 15 oz.—heavy for hiking, but fine for car camping and festivals.

Another option, The Roadsoda 43-liter backpack retails for $100. This waterproof pack is meant for hauling gear to the campsite, day-hikes, or the occasional multi-day backpacking trip.

If you’re in the market for new camp looks, consider the Homestead Collection for tents and packs sure to turn heads.

The Homestead Collection boasts more colors as mentioned in this article, check with The North Face website for complete details.
