You know that juncture where trance music, high-energy visuals, and the great outdoors meet up? Yeah, we didn’t either until we met Joshua VP, a Minneapolis video editor/interactive developer with who we recently teamed to produce our “Fast & Light” video project, a three-episode series on backpacking and climbing around the U.S. I was first hooked on Joshua’s style after seeing “Summer Escape,” a montage made in 2010. This week, he released “Fade,” a new high-energy short that was shot this past fall in the Desert Southwest. Take the trip with Joshua VP in these unique videos below. —Stephen Regenold
