What would you do with $50,000? Redwood Creek wines wants to pay it forward in an effort to help better America’s great outdoors. The company (www.redwoodcreek.com) established the Greater Outdoors Project to recognize and support nonprofit organizations that share a “commitment to preserve, protect and provide access to America’s great outdoors.”

Redwood Creek is asking organizations to apply for the next $50,000 grant to fund a specific outdoor project. To enter, complete an application at www.redwoodcreek.com, which includes submitting a statement of purpose, detailed budget, timeline and photographs of the proposed project.

This past year’s winner, the Southeast Wisconsin Chapter Of Trout Unlimited, was awarded $50,000 to fund the “Camp Creek Restoration Project,” which will work to improve water quality and fishing opportunities in Camp Creek near Madison, Wis.
