Wild undulating shapes, smooth bowls and breathtaking views — the slickrock near Moab, Utah, is among the world’s finest natural playgrounds.

Loaded Boards sent an international team of skaters to the Utah desert to make this uniquely beautiful skate video.

With advice from longtime slickrock slider Rolf Hanson, Loaded riders Ethan Cochard (Texas), Laurent Perigault (France), Mauritz Armfelt (Sweden) and Max Watson (Oregon) set out into the blinding sun to find a “skatepark” made by Mother Nature. Filmed by Spanish director and professional butt-boarder Alberto Alepuz, “Denizens of the Petrified Dunes” is a short skate movie shot entirely off-road in Moab.
