Good Jacket At Good Price — The Under Armour Werewolf Jacket ($185) is a handsome piece that performed well in our tests. The “hybrid” softshell works as do-all outerwear for skiing or boarding, although it is not super insulating. The design melds a stretchy softshell material on the arms and sides along with a quilted vest of PrimaLoft insulation around the core. For very cold weather you’ll need to add significant layers and probably a shell.
