Recipe highlights female freeskiers — pushing themselves to their limits as a collective, collectively pushing the limits of skiing.

This freeski documentary, directed by Coline Ballet-Baz, comprises an all-female team, including Ballet-Baz, Michelle Parker, Taylor Lundquist, Manon Loschi, and several other incredible female skiers. All of them turned up for this Monster-sponsored epic shred-fest.

These talented lady freeskiers go big on a variety of terrain in different locations in Recipe. From the steep slopes of the French Alps to the concrete urban playgrounds of Salt Lake City and beyond, the athletes in this film push the boundaries of freeskiing. It’s a movie that shows just how powerful a female action-sports collective can be — and how much fun that can be.

Recipe reminds us that skiing is something that’s open to anyone. It’s an experience that builds friendships and also bonds between people. It strengthens your on-mountain skills and fosters a community around people with a common goal: shredding gnar.

“It’s a community, it’s who I am,” said Ballet-Baz of Recipe. “Why do it alone?”
