Strictly’s ‘Delete’ Ski Film: Where Pow and Street Meet

From the filmmakers that brought us bangers like ‘Wildcard’ and ‘Most Gutter’ comes the final film from Strictly — a mega mashup of urban street skiing and big-mountain pow.

Mother Nature made mountains for skiing. The big, steep slopes, high altitudes, snowy conditions, and natural, variable terrain are the perfect environment for the sport.

Human beings did not make cities for skiing. But that hasn’t stopped people from busting out their sticks to rip up the streets.

Both settings can make for some radical ski action with the right athletes. And Strictly‘s new (and final) ski film, “Delete,” is stacked with a cast of exactly the right skiers for the job. Jonah Williams, Ryan Stevenson, Thayne Rich, Sam Zahner, Benny Smith, Seamus Flanagan, Parker Norvell, Pete Koukov, Calvin Barrett, Levi Ascher, Trevor Kennison, and more tear it up.

“Delete” is a confluence of gnarliness that’s hard to describe. It’s just one of those ski movies you’ve got to see with your own eyes. The world premiere is taking place in Boulder, Colo., on Oct. 21. Tickets can be purchased online at AXS.
